Alberto Pascual-García completed a BSc in Physics at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He then undertook a MSc in Biophysics at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, followed by a PhD on Complex Biological Systems in the Spanish Research Council, awarded with the Outstanding Thesis University Award. Alberto then joined the laboratory of Microbial Ecology at Imperial College London, and he is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the laboratory of Theoretical Biology at ETH-Zürich. He actively participates in different initiatives aimed at providing benefit to the scientific community. In particular, he is Board Member of Crowdfight and Open Scholar.
