Drew Altschul received an SB in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MS in Neuroscience from Brandeis University, and PhD in Psychology from The University of Edinburgh. His current work sits at the intersection of animal cognition and evolutionary anthropology; he was recently awarded a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship to study the origins of ape dominance behavior in the context of differing rank-based societies.
