Balázs Aczél is an associate professor at ELTE University in Budapest, Hungary, where he serves as the vice-dean for research. Dr. Aczel received his PhD at the University of Cambridge, UK, in 2010. Since then, he has led the Decision Lab at ELTE. His research activity covers decision biases, the psychology of stupidity, and the mechanisms of cognitive control. In meta-research, his team develops user-friendly tools and guidelines in several areas, including reporting contributorship and conducting multi-analyst projects.
