Chris Aberson is currently Professor and Chair of Psychology at Humboldt State University. He earned his PhD at the Claremont Graduate University in 1999. His research interests in in social psychology include prejudice, racism, and attitudes toward affirmative action. His quantitative interests focus on statistical power. He currently serves as Editor-in-Chief for Analyses of Social Issues and Public Policy (ASAP). His book, Applied Power Analysis for the Behavioral Sciences (2nd edition), was published in 2019.
