Sara Arganda graduated in Biology (2003) and got her PhD in Neuroscience (2009) at the Autonomous University of Madrid (Spain), obtaining the Outstanding Thesis University Award. After her PhD, she has done several postdoctoral stays (one of them holding a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship) at the Cajal Institute (Spain), Centre de Recherches sur la Cognition Animale (France) and Boston University (USA). Currently she holds an “Atracción de Talento Investigador” supported by the Regional Government of Madrid and she is an independent researcher at the King Juan Carlos University (Spain), where she and her colleagues study the neurobiology, nutrition and social behavior of ants. She is one of the cofounders of Crowdfight.
